Oracle's NetSuite documentation covers accounting, order management and a supply-chain set comprising item records, inventory management, manufacturing, purchasing and receiving, warehouse management and mobile⁠12.

Best for: Subsidiaries and mid-sized companies leaving ECC for one cloud suite covering accounting, order management, inventory, warehouses and manufacturing.

Not the right fit for: Large, complex manufacturers that rely on ECC’s depth in production planning and cost accounting.

NetSuite Next

Futurum's analysis of the October 2025 announcements describes NetSuite Next as an AI-first version of the platform with Ask Oracle, a natural-language assistant; AI Canvas, a shared workspace that can trigger agentic workflows; agentic workflows that can run autonomously or with a person in the loop; and an AI Connector Service that links external models through the Model Context Protocol⁠3. Features were to reach North America within 12 months.
