Acumatica advertises "unlimited users" and says its cost is based primarily on the number of applications a company implements⁠1.

Best for: Mid-sized manufacturers and distributors leaving ECC that want multi-entity finance, MRP and scheduling with unlimited users.

Not the right fit for: Large groups that need ECC-scale planning across many plants.

What it covers

Finance: general ledger, payables, receivables, cash management, multi-entity accounting and currency management⁠2. Manufacturing: bills of materials and routings with engineering change control, MRP, finite and infinite capacity scheduling, estimating, a product configurator, a shop-floor kiosk and data collection⁠3. AI features include an assistant, AI document recognition for supplier invoices and anomaly detection.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • No per-user licences, which matters when replacing ECC’s broad named-user base.
  • Multi-entity and multi-currency finance alongside manufacturing.
  • Deployment option is a choice in its pricing.

Limits

  • No dollar prices are published.
